Olinda Oil Museum and Trail
This museum and park highlight the influence of the oil industry in the city of Brea's history. The historic park was designed to recreate the cultural and physical landscape of the turn-of-the-century oil boom. The museum contains a records archive as well as cultural artifacts, and the original oil pump is still in working order on the grounds. Students can learn about the geology of the local landscape while walking the adjacent trails. The museum hours are dependent on the availability of docents or park rangers.
